Meeting with Dee Dee Ramone
Well it was the last day in Amsterdam on a european trip, or you might call it tour as we actually played one gig at the venue De Eland in a town called Delft about 50 km from Amsterdam, and our hope of meeting mr punkrock himself Dee Dee Ramone were vanishing. We had hung out on several clubs and bars we knew Dee Dee used to visit frequently but no sight of him.
A Hyman Biography
It was late summer in 1984 and the local band Sämund vise were supposed to play at the local Prästa Festival in Smedjebacken. Then when 2 of the members went fishing to Norway, Micke and Hazzle called up Matte a drummer from Nyhammar and he said hell yeah... Rehearsals went so well they decided to play the festival and so they did. Dressed up with skiing-goggles and Clockwork Orange style jockstraps...
Hymanoids - The Hymans Band Members
The Hymans formed in 1984 by Micke guitar and vocals, Matte drums and Hazzle bass and vocals.
In 1987 Kempa joined as Hazzle quit on bass and backing vocals. Bempa joined in 1992 on guitar leaving Micke on what he does best the singing.
Discography
The Hymans first relase was the album Hymanity on Birdnest records, released in 1993. Since then there's been a lot of different releases in different shapes.
